We rescued Rosie from a kill shelter in Texas with very little knowledge about the dog. Unfortunately, when we got her home we discovered that she would do better in a home where she can be the only dog. We have another anatolian shepherd mix and the 2 are good friends except for when it comes to human food. The 2 dogs eat out of the same dog food dish at the same time with ZERO issues, but if there is a scrap of food on the floor we have seen issues. We think this aggressive reaction when human food is around is due to her being a stray for much of her life and having to fight for her food. Rosie does absolutely AMAZING with our 3 and 4 year old children and we have no concerns with her behavior in regards to kids. She would just do best in a home where she can be the only dog.
