Shadow is a purebred and registered (papers have been lost) 4yr old neutered German Shepherd. He is affectionate, LOVES to play, cuddle and is a good guard dog. He has good manners and is eager to learn. He roams freely on 5 acres yet stays home. I have had him for more than a year and he left the property only twice-both times because of deer (but he came right back).The reason I am rehoming him is because a Guide dog for the blind dog is moving into the house. Shadow does NOT get along with ANY other dogs or cats. Because of this, I would not trust him with children either. Expert training may help with this behavior, but I can not take the chance with a guide dog.I am looking for a home that has no other pets or children. A home with room for him to roam-he can not be taken to dog parks for exercise. Preferably with an owner who has experience with dog handling. Shadow is an indoor mostly dog.If the right home is found, I would consider removing the homing fee.
