Mocha is one of two sweet girls who belonged to one of our fosters down South. Unfortunately both were there when he suddenly passed away. We couldn’t, in good faith, let the girls end up in a kennel fighting for their lives. Mocha is making her way to a foster home in PA soon and is eager to find a forever home quickly so she can form a new bond hopefully at least half as strong as that she had with her dad. Mocha has the demeanor of a service dog and has lived peacefully with many fosters over the years. She is content to be a cough potato and loves to lay at your feet. She is described as having been dialed in to her dad’s emotions and providing him much support. She knows basic commands including sit, leave it, down, off, and come. Please contact your vet authorizing them to release information to us.Also, let your references know we’ll be calling.****Failure to take these steps may delay the process Once your references have been contacted, someone will contact you to schedule a home visit.After your home visit you will receive an email informing you of your approval. Schedule a meet/adoption. You will be able to finalize your adoption of the dog at this meeting. Please read your contract thoroughly before the meeting. You will be required to send an update at 2 weeks, 6 months, and annually. The email addresses for those updates will be at the bottom of the contract. If it has been determined that training is a requirement for the dog you’re adopting this will be noted on the contract. You will be required to submit verification of training completion. Payment by cash is due at the time of adoption. If you choose to use PayPal, payment should be made prior to the meeting/adoption. You will need to forward the electronic email you receive from PayPal, to XXXX@gmail.com to confirm your payment before the meeting/adoption.
