Meli is an 10- to 11-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who weighs 14 pounds. She loves hanging out with the humans and prefers to sleep in the humans' bed. She is also great with older kids, too. Meli gets along with all of the dogs in her foster home, even the bratty ones. She ignores the cat and walks well on a leash. Mel is house trained but doesn't care for the crate (she cries). Her hearing isn't great but she seems to see fine. Meli enjoys exploring the great outdoors in her foster mom's backyard. Meli will be making her way to NJ to find a forever home - could it be yours?
